Welcome to the Walk In the Park website, and what a fantastic event we have in store this year.

The Bay City Rollers, one of Britain’s biggest bands of the 1970s, will be headlining the musical entertainment at this year’s Walk In The Park festival – the even now known as Northamptonshire’s biggest family festival of the year.

Joining former heartthrob Les McKeown on Friday, July 5, will be last year’s X-Factor finalists MK One, Katrina – formerly of Katrina And The Waves – and the American soul singer Kym Mazelle, known worldwide as ‘The Mother of House Music’.

It’s going to be another superb weekend of fun for local people, and organised by local people. We look forward to seeing you there!

This year’s Walk In The Park ‘Family Friday’ event at Wootton Rec launches a month of top class musical celebration in Northampton, including the visits to the town of Paul Weller, James Morrison and The Wanted two weekends later.
